The shelves are full and I still have 2 or 3 boxes of books without a home. I did realize the other day that there's room for a small bookcase under the side window in the room. I guess I'll have to use that. I was so hoping to get all my books on the shelves. I should be grateful that I have so many books and that I have shelves to put them on. Many people have much bigger problems.
It looks great. I had a feeling you wouldn't quite have room for them all. Maybe you could free up some space by locating your gardening books in what I call your sun room.
ReplyDeleteI think the sun room can be a little damp at times. I don't want to risk my books there. I'll find a place for all of them - somewhere!
DeleteHow lovely to have all that space for books, and you nearly have them all in there. I bet you are relieved to have that all done now.
ReplyDeleteI know I'm lucky to have a room solely for books, a real library. I have a small bookcase that will fit under a window in that room. That may solve my problem. Jack also built shelves in the closet in that room for all my book related non-book things.
DeleteAh the problem of more books than shelf space is a lovely one to have. You bookshelves are beautiful, are they built-in? Will you show us a photo of the whole room once it's ready for prime time? :)
ReplyDeleteIt is an awful problem, isn't it? What's worse is not having a million years to read everything! They are built-ins and I will definitely post photos when everything is in its place. The carpenter is here today to put the shoe molding on the bottom of the baseboard. He's done an amazing job.
