May Books

I read a lot in May, maybe because I was on vacation for a week and wasn't distracted by household chores.  And the cat.  But we spent a lot of time in the car, too, and I can't read in cars.  For whatever reason, I finished more books last month than usual and here they are:

Death Below Deck  -  Douglas Kiker
The Ghost Hunters  -  Neil Spring
     Dear Departed  -  Cynthia Harrod-Eagles
Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life  -  Amy Rosenthal
     Book Clubbed  -  Lorna Barrett
A Sting in the Tale  -  Dave Goulson
     Zadok's Treasure  -  Margot Arnold
The Art of Silence  -  Pico Iyer
The Ghost Fields  -  Elly Griffiths
Five on a Treasure Island  -  Enid Blyton

I just noticed that there are two books with 'ghost' in the title and two with 'treasure' in the title, two of my favorite things!

  1. Don't question why, just be happy about all the books :) What did you think of The Art of Silence? Did you post about it and I am just not remembering?

    1. I enjoyed it and it gave me a lot to think about. Perhaps oddly, those are the kind of books that I have trouble posting about. They're hard to summarize and I'm still thinking about this one.
